For my Master's degree in Neuroscience & Cognition at Utrecht University (the Netherlands), I completed my thesis on how the human ability to perceive and appreciate visual art is subserved by features of the brain's visual system that have developed over the course of evolution. This academic work is a review of the scientific literature up through the time of writing (2010). The work was supervised by Prof. Margaret Livingstone of Harvard University Medical School.
